Subject: Also want posthumus zone

if possible, I would also like the NFL/CBS theme called posthumus zone/rise to glory or whatever? Just the instrumental...no rapping. I'm surprized the group hasn't released it yet. I'd greatly appreciate it!

Subject: Highlights song.

Does anybody know the name of the song they played on NFL Primetime (or what is now The Blitz) where they would shift to a screen full of statistics?

Usually if someone breaks a record or goes on a streak, following the highlights they'll go to a stat screen (for instance, LT's run to the TD record) and play the music briefly.

Subject: college football final

I am trying to find some more songs played on college football final show. There is one song that has a rock and roll beat that they used to play and also there is this song that has a techno beat at the beginning climaxing to a piano playing. I know that I have heard two of them at omnimusic, but I was wondering if anyone had anymore leads. Also, I am wondering if anyone knows that song that it played during the Raiders highlights (the one with the horns blaring through most of the song). Its like how the Buffalo Bills always get Powersurge and the Packers International Statement. Thanks

Subject: Sportscenter "Images" segment

I am looking for a sportscenter episode where they had an "Images" segment. The piece starts off with the WSU quarterback celebrating in front of the homestands. I don't know the song that was played, but I do remember some of the lyrics. "It's like a Friday afternoon....It's like the first football in the air.....You can go there if you want though it fades to soon." Any information on how to find it online would be great. Or just find it period. Thanks.

Subject: NFL Films music

I'm looking for much of the music featured on all the older NFL Films that IS NOT on the 10 CD Box set they released a few years ago. I'm told some of it was from other Music Library sources of the day but there is much of Sam Spence's work that wasnt released on CD.

Hopefully someone out there can help out.

peace

Subject: No More NFL Primetime

Yes I agree. After a year of trying to watch the NFL highlights on NBC, it just isn't the same as NFL Primetime. I always enjoyed Chris Berman's comments and the highlights went further in depth. They do have what is called "The Blitz" on ESPN at 11:00pm but it's way too late and they don't do all the games. I'm sure everybody wishes it were back on ESPN

Subject: My current sports music library (mp3's only)

Hopefully some of the "vets" who used to post here regularly will check this out. I am still continuing to hunt for some elusive songs. I would like to make trades with those who worked and found some of the tougher ones. Here is my sports music library:

ABC - MNF Theme - Heavy Action (1970 & 1989 versions)
ABC - NCAA Football Theme
CBS - NBA on CBS Theme
CBS - NCAA Basketabll Theme
CBS - NFL Theme (1986)
CBS - NFL Today (1976)
CBS - NFL Today Game Opening Theme (early 80's)
CBS - NFL Today Pre-Game Theme (early 80's)
ESPN - Baseball Tonight Theme
ESPN - NFL Primetime - Unknown Titles Clips 1-9
ESPN - NFL Primetime - FirstCom songs: Crush, Grid Lock, Gridiron Guts, International Statement, Muscle Cuts, Old Theme, Powersurge, Roadhog, Showdown, The Event, The Struggle, Triumphant Return
FOX - NFL Theme
NBC - NBA Theme (full version and short)
NBC - SNF Theme

Hopefully one of these or more will help your library. To be blunt, I'm only looking for people to e-mail me who have some songs that I don't have- not for me to get bombarded by those who didn't take the time to do a simple Google or p2p search to get many of these. There are several FirstCom songs that either I didn't want b/c I'd never heard them on Primetime or I couldn't get them since FirstCom seems to have removed some that used to be downloadable.

As for how I can trade songs, I will discuss via e-mail.

Subject: NFL Primetime music/Sports themes

Well, I came upon this thread the other day and read every page of it just so I could figure out where to download most of these songs. I've managed to find 18 Primetime songs in mp3 format, but there are a few I'm missing from my library- specifically the song from the "fastest 3 minutes in football" and the other few that are only in .wav format (as far as I know).

I have scoured the internet, Firstcom and several p2p servers trying to find all of these songs. Unfortunately, Firstcom has taken down a few of the songs. In addition, let's face it- some of these are damn near impossible (if not actually impossible) to find.

I would like to see if anyone can assist me in helping to complete my library. Hopefully, I may have a song or two that might help complete your library.

In addition, I'd also like to say thanks to those who put their time and effort into finding these songs.

-Joel
